Prove what your Jira configuration looked like — and when. Formation Advanced captures the structure of your permission and workflow schemes as a point-in-time snapshot, shows you what drifted since the last capture, verifies that a snapshot hasn't been altered, and exports the whole thing to Confluence as shareable evidence.

Highlights¶

Native capture, no egress — Formation reads your Jira configuration through Atlassian's own in-platform APIs. Nothing leaves your instance.
Drift you can see — capture again after a change and Formation shows the exact difference, down to the individual permission grant or workflow rule.
Verifiable integrity — every capture is hashed (SHA-256), so you — or an auditor — can confirm a snapshot is exactly as captured and hasn't been edited.
Export to Confluence — publish a capture as a real Confluence page for reviewers and auditors, in one step. (Optional — needs the Confluence companion install.)

Structure, honestly scoped

Config Evidence captures configuration structure. The bodies of workflow rules, automation rules, and scripts aren't readable by any Atlassian app; Formation discloses them as "not inspectable" rather than pretending to capture them.
